Servers Down!

Do not panic, you haven't been banned from the game, there is however a private third party trying to hack into the sega servers to retrieve personal data, although sega have confirmed no data has been accessed by these hackers, and they decided to shut down the servers for security reasons, until they can fix the problem. heres an official sega statement

"Sega released a statement saying they are experiencing a DDoS attack against their servers by a third party group. Sega has decided to temporarily suspend service to PSO2, and confirmed that no gameplay data has been affected by this issue. Unfortunately as the DDoS attacks continue, it will be difficult for them to reopen service at midnight. They plan to release a followup report on June 20th @ 13:00 JST."

sega will need a few more days to fix the problem, they will be compensating all players.

As for compensations, they plan to address them as follows:

They will examine some kind of compensation for all users.
They will consider extending items that are valid for a period of time, like Premium Sets and Extra Storage Slots.
They will discuss details for the various events and campaigns (including the interlocking WEB Event) once service reopens.
They will extend the time frame for the PSO2 Live Broadcast #21′s secret phrase.
Compensation details and dates will be discussed at a later time.
Comments have been reopened, however they will be placed under strict moderation and may take some time to show up. Some comment threads and their replies (regardless of whether they were reasonable or not) have been removed. After the service restores, the comment section will return to its regular format.

I cant get on it. I also get the error 107 when i use the pso2 driver, and error 249 when i use tweaker. I can tell u though that some ppl have been able to get back on. koga kuchiki can get on. sega better get their finger out and fix this problem, cos im starting to get bored with borderlands2. BTW my xbox GT is xGod of Flashx if u need me il be on xbox

Well that's unfortunate...I have heard that we will be receiving compensation for the lack of service...it definitely looks like people have been receiving some salon make over stuff...there was also one person who reported receiving premium membership for 3 days.

It is annoying because i know the servers are back up and running but i just get errors when trying to log in the Tweaker says servers are offline and using game launcher servers are unknown -Ryneth

yea, and its not just u, it seems to be the majority still cant get back on yet. just have to be patient and it should be fixed in a week or so.

yeah i hope it will be fixed soon as im getting tired of playing Star wars the old republic and Shogun 2

well now that we know that there was a large scale IP ban, this is how u can get around that and still play. I use it and it works.

How can you be sure that there's an ip has sega come out and said it because ive seen around reddit that there's no ip ban here is one of the links

regardless of what it is, pingzapper allows me to play the game, thats good enough for me till there a perminent fix.  

would you be able to help me to get my game working again ive been wanting to play it for a while

I dont know that much about pingzapper but i dont think it will expire and if that dose happen just make up a random account thats what i would do

there is a different vpn. I cant remember what its called, but my friend knows, and he said it works fine without cutting out. il ask him next time i see him.

I know this has nothing to do with servers being down but when ever i launch my game i get sega logo intro video and then black screen ive reinstalled the game and still happens what should i do ?
